As an internationally trained dentist, Dr. Mayank Kakkar brings a wealth of experience and expertise to our team. His dental journey began at the esteemed KLE University in India, and his thirst for knowledge led him to continue his education in the United States.
With an unwavering dedication to providing exceptional care, Dr. Kakkar obtained his Master of Healthcare Administration (MHA) from the University of Houston-Clear Lake and completed a prestigious Advanced Education in General Dentistry (AEGD) residency at the renowned Eastman Institute for Oral, University of Rochester Medical Center (URMC). But he didn’t stop there! Driven by his genuine compassion, he embarked on a fellowship in special needs dentistry at the Complex Care Center URMC, Rochester, New York.
Dr. Kakkar’s passion for translational dentistry research and his tireless advocacy for patients with intellectual and developmental disabilities earned him the esteemed AADMD Future Leader Baton Award in 2021.
